The Shenandoah County Community Center (formerly CREW) creates opportunities for all people to improve their lives, participate in programs, services and new initiatives and be engaged through community connectiveness.
Through empowering, improving individual and community well-being and inspiring action, our aim is to create meaningful and lasting quality of life impact throughout Shenandoah County and the surrounding area.
Our Shenandoah County campus offers facilities and programs that develop health and wellbeing for the mind, body and spirit while building a stronger community.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of 100% volunteer leaders dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our community. Our board is committed to nonprofit best practices and responsible stewardship.

Olivia Rogers

Olivia Rogers is a nonprofit leader and community builder born and raised in Virginia with over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as an executive director, board member, and consultant to mission-driven organizations. She believes deeply in the power of shared spaces, strong partnerships, and community-centered programming to bring people together and create lasting impact.
Throughout her career, Olivia has led organizations through periods of growth and transition, expanded access to inclusive programs, and helped nonprofits strengthen their governance, operations, and public-facing communications. In addition to her leadership roles, she has served on nonprofit boards and advised organizations across the region, bringing a broad perspective shaped by both hands-on management and strategic collaboration.
At the Shenandoah County Community Center, Olivia brings a collaborative, people-first approach to leadership—focused on building a welcoming, sustainable community hub that reflects the diversity, creativity, and needs of Shenandoah County
Brett Barr
Programs Manager

Brett Barr serves as Director of Programs at the Shenandoah County Community Center, where he leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to support community growth, recreation, and access to resources for residents of all ages. He works closely with staff, partners, and instructors to ensure programs are welcoming, well-run, and aligned with the Center’s mission.
Brett graduated from James Madison University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management. His professional background includes experience in parks and recreation and the hospitality industry, giving him a strong foundation in program coordination, customer experience, and community engagement.
Born and raised in Shenandoah County, Brett brings a deep personal connection to the work he does and is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities that strengthen his hometown. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, maintaining an active lifestyle, and prioritizing time with his family.
