Children’s Programs

Our Children’s Programs are proudly offered in partnership with Wild Child, whose team specializes in play-based, hands-on learning experiences designed to support early childhood development, creativity, and curiosity.

Wild Child’s approach centers on the belief that children learn best through exploration, imagination, and meaningful play. Their programs create welcoming environments where children can move their bodies, engage their senses, and build social skills at their own pace—all while having fun.

Programming may include:

  • Open play and guided play sessions
  • Age-based classes and supervised playgroups
  • Creative, sensory, and nature-inspired activities
  • Seasonal camps and special events

While these programs are hosted at the Shenandoah County Community Center, they are developed and facilitated by Wild Child and are open to the public. Through partnerships like this, we are able to expand the range of high-quality opportunities available to families in our community while supporting local educators and mission-aligned organizations.
